NEED HELP?

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How to Much Weight Can Hooks Hold?

Super common question! Our wall hooks hold 75lbs when installed with a lag bolt into a wall stud or our toggle bolt in drywall.

Our hook racks hold 100 lbs each and have spacing to install into wall studs.

How High Should I Mount Entryway Hooks?

For most entryways, mount hooks 60–66 inches from the floor to the top of the hook. This height keeps coats and bags accessible for adults while leaving enough clearance above the floor.

If you’re creating a family friendly entryway for kids, consider a lower row at 36–48 inches so little ones can reach their own hooks.

What Type of Hardware Do I Need?

We offer a variety of hardware options to choose from based on what the fixture will be installed into. To help choose, we've created this guideline:

  • Solid Wood = .75" screw
  • Thick Solid Wood = 1" lag bolts
  • Wall Stud = 2" Lag Bolt
  • Drywall Only = Toggle Bolts

For other installation applications, such as brick or concrete, we offer speciality hardware separately.

Can I Order Finish Samples?

Yes! We offer a Sample Finish Kit for all of our metal finishes so you can see the finishes first hand and see what complements other hardware.
