1. Choose Bracket Size
L Brackets are super versatile and do not need an exact size. Choose a bracket at least 2/3 the depth of the shelf. For example, a 12" deep shelf could use a 9" or 11" bracket.
2. Bracket Quantity
Many shelves need more than two brackets for enough support. For shelves longer than 36" we recommend three or more. Check out our guide for more info
3. Plan for Install
Each bracket order includes two matching lag bolts for installation into wall studs.
For other shelving applications, such as drywall or concrete, we offer speciality hardware separately (masonry bolts shown here).
