These best-selling brackets are optimal for kitchen shelves, home storage shelving, bookshelves, or other projects requiring heavy duty support.

We take great pride in creating our brackets in our own metal shop - we do not factory import. Our process includes cutting flat bar raw steel, bending to 90' angles, sanding edges, punching holes, and powder coating for a professional finish.

L Brackets are super versatile and do not need an exact size. Choose a bracket at least 2/3 the depth of the shelf. For example, a 12" deep shelf could use a 9" or 11" bracket.
Many shelves need more than two brackets for enough support. For shelves longer than 36" we recommend three or more. Check out our guide for more info
Each bracket order includes two matching lag bolts for installation into wall studs.
For other shelving applications, such as drywall or concrete, we offer speciality hardware separately (masonry bolts shown here).
The spray coat color wasn't 100% consistent and does scratch easily, but these are super solid and I have bought two sets - they do the trick!

For future reference, these tips can help reduce possible metal scratching on metallic finishes:
- bolts can be hand tightened up until the final tightening
- a socket wrench can be used if a standard wrench is tricky
- avoiding over tightening bolts to reduce likelihood of bolts breaking or scratching

L brackets have two sides: an "arm" which holds the shelf and a "leg" which mounts to the wall.
The size options reflects the arm length.
Every bracket has a 6" standard leg to mount to wall. This create a minimal look and is also strong enough to hold the shelf.
