Number of brackets needed based on shelf length:
0”-36” = 2
37”-68” = 3
69”-100” = 4
101”-132”= 51
33”-164” = 6
L brackets are super versatile - the exact shelf depth is not needed. This makes them perfect for custom shelves, irregular shelf sizes, and raw edge slabs.
We recommend using a bracket that is at least 2/3 the depth of the shelf. So if a shelf is 10" deep, or wide, a 7" or 9" L bracket could be used.
Yes! L Brackets are so versatile they can be installed in either direction. This means they can be installed beneath the board as a classic shelf support.
Or, L brackets can be installed with the wall mount behind and above the shelf, more like a floating shelf style. This create a minimal shelving system.
L brackets are equally strong with either installation.
